Our Alm Lodges on the Ritten
Summer retreat in the South Tyrolean mountains
Finding peace and quiet, escaping the daily grind and "leaving things alone" for a few days. Where better than in one of the six Alm Lodges at the SchartnerAlm? For us, the Kiefer, the Lärche, the Birke, the Fichte, the Zirbel and the Latsche - as the holiday apartment in Klobenstein on the Ritten are called in German - are not just trees, but our cosy home for a while. A home with space for two to ten people, designed for couples, friends as well as for multi-generational families.
What we particularly appreciate are the spacious, light-flooded living areas, the high-quality furnishings and the attention to detail. Because here, every piece of furniture, every light source and every wooden element, no matter how small, has its place. This is how an authentic holiday in the Dolomites looks like. Not to mention the great kitchen, which is a perfect mix of modern and retro-chic. In any case, it is not only an eye-catcher for us, but it is also equipped with every comfort. So we can enjoy a cosy evening of cooking.
... and if we don't feel like cooking and would rather be cooked for instead, we can simply go down a few floors and enjoy the cuisine of the restaurant or the in-house pizzeria.
In some places you just have this feeling of being at home.
The SchartnerAlm is such a place for us.
For all apartments, it is possible to get free additional baby crib on request... Everything has simply been thought of here, so that young and old, big and small feel completely at home.
Office hours: 8:30am - 1pm / 3pm 6pm
-> Check in until 6pm!!!!
An individual holiday home
There are of course one or two highlights for us adults as well. The swimming pond with a view of the Dolomites, for example. Or the sun terrace in front of the bistro. Or the bus stop, which is directly in front of the house. Or the wide range of leisure activities on the sunny plateau of the Ritten - all year round.
... and if they do want to leave their own four walls, a 300m² large indoor play area with a ball pool awaits them in the lower floor, or they can enjoy themselves in the small forest playground and play cowboys and Indians. In any case, it never gets boring here!
Free travel with the RittenCard!
Pssst... last but not least we have something else that we really appreciate when staying at the SchartnerAlm: the RittenCard, which we get for free when we arrive. It lets us use all regional public transport in South Tyrol, including the Ritten narrow-gauge railway and the Ritten cable car - wow! Any other free services? Of course, they are available directly on site.
Especially large apartments with balconies at every unit. A dream!
